Thanh Toan Bridge

This is one of 2 bridges retaining the most unique architectures in Vietnam today. Thanh Toan Bridge is a historical, cultural relic built on the style of “house above a bridge” that is still intact nowadays.

Thanh Toan bridge is located about 7 kilometers to the east of Hue in Thuy Thanh Commune, Huong Thuy district. It was reportedly established during the reign of Emperor Le Hien Tong (1740-1786) and has been maintained by the village ever since.

An Bang

A small fishing village in Hue, also commonly known as “Town of Ghosts” or “The Land Where The Dead Live”.

In a bizarre variation of keeping up with the Joneses, the villagers compete to build increasingly lavish and elaborate tombs for their ancestors. And, even sometimes for family members who have not yet died.

The cemetery, with its brilliantly colored structures built on white sand. It stretches along the side of the road for 3 kilometers length. Some of the mausoleums could be a mistaken for mansions. Regal stone lions abound and glittering mosaic dragons adorn the roof-ridges. Some grave markers write information on the building costs plus the names and dates. Typical figures are between twenty-five and fifty thousand US dollars. Although, the homes of the villagers remain humble, the dead are resting in luxury place

Tam Giang Lagoon

Champa Tower

Phu Dien Tower (also known as Thap Cham) is a unique historical and cultural site that was discovered by archaeologists in 2001 (formerly covered by sand), located in My Khanh hamlet (Phu Dien commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province) with monolithic terracotta structure, no roof and in a single location, different from other Thap Cham monuments.
